My garden

Well our garden did much better than I thought it would. We still have lots of weeds but should have less next year. Putting the paper and bark down in-between really helped. The bottom picture is from May 17th, the 3rd and 4th from July 8th and the top two are from today.

Revere's Family Reunion

We went to Firth to Revere's parents house for his family reunion. Zeke and Carolee were in charge this year. We had lots of fun and Carolee made the girls bracelets and the grownup girls a necklace and bracelet.

Clematis

My clematis was beautiful this spring. I even had a family stop and take pictures of their kids in front of it. This picture was taken on May 14th.

Favorite Flower Gardens

Some of my favorite flower gardens are the ones in my parent's yard. There are on a mission right now so it was strange to be there with them gone but their flower gardens were beautiful. These pictures were taken on July 10th.

Stake Musical

Our Stake is putting on a musical and Revere has the part of Cogsworth. Families were invited to watch the practice on Friday night so I went and watched with Emma and Daniel. (Anna Marie was visiting a friend.) The kids got tired so I took them home but came back to watch the rest.

Our Garden?

At least we hope it will work. We do have a problem with weeds but are hoping to keep it under control. Here Revere is dumping compost on the back and side yards. He got three loads full of compost and will till it in as soon as he can. I also ordered seeds and some other garden stuff. I hope to plant peas next week when they come. We have had really good weather but the forecast says snow on Monday.
